Terms
The terms of service for the app — the contract about accounts, deposits, refunds and cancellations — arrive with the app, and will be linked here. Until then, this page carries two smaller things: the house rules Moonflower is built around, and the terms covering this website.
The house rules
Short, and enforced rather than merely hoped for. This is the part of the small print that actually describes the place, so it's worth thirty seconds before you decide we're for you.
Everyone is 18 or over
Age is verified. There is no route in for anyone under 18, and an account found to belong to someone under 18 is closed.
State your intent honestly
Moonflower is for adults looking for something casual. Everyone here has said so, which is the entire benefit — it only works if that is true of you too.
Clear intent is not consent
Sharing an intention is not agreeing to anything, with anyone, at any point. Nobody on Moonflower owes anybody a date, a continuation, or anything else, and withdrawing at any moment needs no explanation. Pressuring someone is the fastest way to lose your account.
Turn up, or cancel properly
A confirmed date holds a deposit from both sides. Not appearing forfeits it, and part of it goes to the person who was left waiting. Cancelling is always allowed and costs less the earlier you do it.
The meeting point is the meeting point
It is public, it is chosen to be a fair journey for both of you, and it does not change.
Behaviour on a date counts
Harassment, coercion, recording someone without their agreement, or turning up impersonating someone else will end your account, and where it is a crime we will treat it as one.
One person, one account
Accounts are personal and verified. Do not share one, sell one, or open a second after one has been closed.
Using this website
This site is provided for information about Moonflower. We keep it accurate but make no guarantee that it is complete or current, and nothing here is an offer or a contract. The app's own terms will govern the app.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
